From The Panel, 4:03 pm on 21 December 2018

Those who use trains around Wellington are gritting their teeth ahead of predicted delays at peak hour today. Regular Kapiti Coast commuter Rick Jury says train services have been getting worse. International flights around the world have been thrown into disarray by rogue drones invading the air space of London's Gatwick Airport. Around 110,000 passengers on 760 flights have been effected by what Police and airport authorities believe is a deliberate act. The Auckland City Missioner Chris Farrelly says people in desperate need waited overnight in the rain to receive Christmas dinner and present packages. The Mission had had to turn people away in rfecent days as they didn't have enough to go around. However, Mr Farrelly says today they've managed to provide everyone with food and presents. Police are issuing warnings about ticket scams around summer concert time. And there are calls for harsher penalties for immigration scams. Former immigration minister Tuariki Delamere says those harsher penalties include deportation.
