The Panel with Heather Roy and Scott Campbell (Part 2)

From The Panel, 4:05 pm on 17 December 2018

According to a selection of surveys out of the US, millennials are doing it rough. They are the broke generation, unless they live at home. Millennial women though are doing better than Generation X women did at the same age. Young people, kids age 10-16 have few role models, though look to youtube instead of parents and teachers, according to studies. We ask the panelists whose fault this is. What the panellists Heather Roy and Scott Campbell want to talk about. A 24-year-old Kerikeri man managed to free himself from the jaws of a shark in Northland this weekend. Kevin Lloyd was spearfishing whenh he was attacked by a 2.1 metre mako shark. Kevin joins The Panle to recount his experience. It's now well into summer so we have consulted dermatologist Dr Louise Reiche to debunk common sunburn remedies and ask the panelists if they have any tips. Meanwhile the annual debate over the strength and efficacies of sunscreen has reignited. We speak to Consumer NZ's Belinda Castles. Company Vitamin Water has announced it will give away $100,000 to someone who can survive a year without using a smartphone. An old fashion landline is allowed. We ask the panelists if they would try the challenge, or how much money that would want to attempt it.
