Investment to fix our deadly roads

From The Panel, 4:10 pm on 17 December 2018

The Government has announced a $1.4 billion plan over three years to improve roads and lower the number of deaths on them.

The investment will make 870 kilometres of high-risk highways safer with the use of median barriers, rumble strips and shoulder widening. The goal is to reduce fatalities by up to 90 percent.

Dog and Lemon editor Clive Matthew-Wilson gives us his opinion on the moves and the panelists weigh in.
