Shane Jones continues to defend his behaviour in failing to disclose meetings saying his moral purpose was more important than disclosure by taking an interest in neglected areas of Northland. People buying homes in a new subdivision north of Auckland will pay extra on top of their rates to fund infrastructure for the development. Feilding Intermediate Principal Diane Crate has addressed media reports on what teachers are asking for by posting on Facebook what teachers are actually asking for. She says the time to plan and having adequate support staff is just as important.
