Late-career glass ceiling for women lawyers

From The Panel, 4:41 pm on 2 November 2018

A Law Society survey has found there is little difference in the salaries between the sexes in the first 10 years' of practice. Then after about 10 years a glass ceiling appears. Women lawyers are less likely to have perks likes a mobile phone, bonus scheme, parking, private health insurance and gym memberships than their male counterparts. On the other hand, they are more likely to work flexible hours, have a laptop and a day off for their birthday.
