Waitaki Valley Village still for sale

A deserted village on 14 hectares of land beside a man made dam in the Waitaki Valley is being advertised around the world. But so far - still no takers. It was built in the 1930s for workers on the Waitaki Dam and includes eight three-bedroom homes, a café, nine garages, and water rights. There's also a fairly stylish large refurbished lodge. The Oamaru-based real estate agent Kelli Milmine has a chat about the property and how her phone's been ringing off the hook today.
