Principal "grilled" for months by Police
Police are defending a four-month investigation into a principal who physically restrained an eight year-old boy in his class and stopped him running away from school. The Tai Tokerau Principals' Association president Pat Newman says the investigation was harrowing and took a severe toll on the principal. The prinicpal of Ruakaka Primary School Marilyn Dunn says teachers are so restricted they can't even break up a fight.
