Number of cars adding to Auckland traffic being questioned

It looks like the mantra that Auckland has another 800 cars added to the traffic each week is an outdated statistic. NZTA figures show in the year to August 2018 there was a net loss of 4184 cars on the road. Road Safety advocate Clive Matthew-Wilson claims there are an awful lot illegal cars on the roads.
