Story of the day for 12 September 2018

From The Panel, 3:52 pm on 12 September 2018

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has come out with figures on spending on tertiary education. New Zealand is middle of the pack with about $15,000usd per student annually. The US spends twice that, $30,000usd per student a year, almost twice as much as the average. Money is spent on water parks on campus and climbing walls and wood fired pizza ovens in the cafeteria.
