Kiwis and their drunk injuries

A quarter of New Zealanders arrive at hospital emergency departments with injuries caused while drinking, a study has found.

But the results show New Zealand has improved since 2000, coming in at number 2 on the list of 28, behind Sweden. Injuries from drink driving in particular seem to have eased.

Professor Bridget Kool from Auckland University joins the show to tell us what is encouraging and what still needs to be worked on.
