Should gay conversion therapy be banned?

A Welsh vegan group in the UK has sparked a furore on Facebook with a claim that being gay or transgender is not a natural and healthy lifestyle choice and is caused by synthetic chemical pollutants. The Vegan Society in the UK has dissociated itself from the comments. What this may show is that unease over gender fluidity isn't confined to religious groups, in fact it can come out of areas you wouldn't expect.
