It brings us back to the obvious question of affordability. Affordable for who? Is it a right to own your own home? If so, what needs to be done to make that possible for all? AUT researcher Rachel Morrison has found that men and women react very differently to open-plan offices. Women feel like they're in a fish bowl, being watched and even isolated. Men seem to be oblivious to any negatives of an open-plan workspace or to even see them as a positive way to work. Rachel Morrison talks to us about her study.
