The Panel with Paula Penfold and Duane Major (Part 2)

From The Panel, 4:05 pm on 25 May 2018

Another day, another prediction about future jobs. An expert from Australia says stockbrokers, chechout operators and retail workers will all be obsolete in the future. What is going to happen those people who can't adjust to the new world? The panelists give their view. What the Panelists Paula Penfold and Duane Major want to talk about. Auckland's parks could soon be available for freedom campers to use. Auckland council is hoping to meet its requirements under Government legislation and is planing to get the sites ready for Summer. But not everyone is happy with the idea. We speak to Albert/Eden local board chair Peter Haynes about his concerns. There's a lot of interested in a beachfront property for sale by tender, a slice of Kinnoull station near Wellington. It's advertised as the perfect kiwi beach, containing 12 baches and a private bay to fish and swim at. We ask the panelists whether they'd consider living off the grid, and whether that life is sustainable. There's talk that Harvey Weinstein is about to be arrested on charges of sexual assault while at the same time the past actions of Morgan Freeman are under scrutiny with many saying his actions amounted to harassment over the years.
