The Panel with Verity Johnson and Simon Pound (Part 2)

From The Panel, 4:05 pm on 1 May 2018

Astrology is still going strong, especially among millennials. According to recent data, the biggets followers of astrology are between 18 and 34, despite a decrease over the years in people believing the practice is scientific. We ask the panelists what their star signs are and whether they love a good horoscope. What the Panelists Verity Johnson and Simon Pound want to talk about. The first in a series of regional Meet The Panel sessions will be held today by the Government Inquiry into Mental Health and Addiction. Meanwhile business and mental health advocacy groups are backing a new plan by KPMG to invest in mental health measures. We speak to Ross Jones of consulting firm Jacobs about his experiences with mental health and his commitment to helping his employees that are struggling. Good news for animal lovers, bad news for haters - starting this week pets will be allowed on busses, trains and ferries in Wellington. There are restrictions on where the animals must be kept during the ride and the policy will be monitored to tweak any problems. We ask the panelists what they think of the idea. Speaking of pets, are dogs and cats members of your family or your property? And if people break up, who gets custody? It's a serious question but the law currently sees your pet as another item you own. Couples are encouraged to do up a pet pre-nup. We get the pnaelists thoughts.
