Hamilton councillor Mark Bunting is in hot water after he sent pictures of a crude joke to journalists Angela Cuming. It involved an off-colour pun about her last name. She'd been in contact with Bunting over the city's playgrounds. She published messages, which the councillor has defended as a "joke", saying the's never appropriate to send something of this nature to a woman, especially from someone in a position of power.
