Housing paradox

As houses reach record evaluations older experienced workers struggle to work and keep a roof over their heads.

The Queenstown Lakes District Council has released figures from the most recent revaluation of all properties in the area, carried out by Quotable Value. They show the total capital value of properties in the district has almost doubled in three years.

And it's World Homeless Day. Admittedly we have created this juxtaposition, but there's something badly wrong with it?
