The Panel with Dita de Boni and Catherine Robertson (Part 1)

From The Panel, 4:07 pm on 3 December 2014

Topics - New Zealand freediver William Trubridge will have another shot at a world record tomorrow. This morning the 34-year-old came up short in an attempt to dive 102 metres into a cavern off the Bahamas. The funeral has taken place of Philip Hughes, the young batsmen killed in a freakish and catastrophic accident last week. Twenty five year old Hughes was hit by a ball from bowler Sean Abbott. The ball effectively compressed a critical artery in Hughes' neck, triggering a brain haemorrhage from which he did not recover. We're talking about Americas Cup yachting, and today's decision to that Bermuda will host the next regatta in 2017. And it wasn't the decision that Team New Zealand, or the government, were hoping for.
