The Panel with Mai Chen and Nevin Gibson (Part 2)

From The Panel, 4:33 pm on 5 August 2014

Topics - Which is the world's most populated city now? Do you remember doing this as a child? Napier's $1.3m art deco tourist buses have been sold for $25,000 each. These were old US schoolbuses, converted into Deco City Discoverer buses, shipped out to New Zealand, found to be unroadworthy. There were repairs, refitting, a feasibility study... all up 1.1 million. Auckland's friendship garden is to be rebuilt at a cost of a million dollars, because the Zoo dug it up to make way for a breeding programme for endangered Tasmanian devils, and the Japanese city of Fukuoka was offended. Auckland's Japanese community strongly opposed the removal. The government's talking tough on gangs and says it's targetting the big fish.
