The Panel with Sally Wenley and Andrew Clay Part 1

Tonight, on The Panel, Wallace Chapman is joined by panellists Sally Wenley and Andrew Clay.

First up, the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk has sent shockwaves around the world - but equally disturbing is the graphic video of the shooting that was widely distributed online. It's a video that has been seen by many children; how do we keep them safe?

Charlie Kirk stands in the back of the room as US President Donald Trump speaks during a swearing in ceremony for interim U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C. Jeanine Pirro in the Oval Office of the White House on May 28, 2025 in Washington, DC. Trump has announced Pirro, a former Fox News personality, judge, prosecutor, and politician, after losing support in the Senate for his first choice, Ed Martin, over his views on the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The Panel with Sally Wenley and Andrew Clay Part 2

In part two, a petition to keep outdoor education as a subject at high school is rapidly gaining support. Seven-time Adventure Racing World Champion Nathan Fa'avae has added his voice to it and tells the panel why he's against the Government's plan to ditch the subject as it's known now. Then, 80-year-old Gordon Broome has delivered his last newspaper in Dunedin after almost 40-years and shares his memories with the panel.
