Tonight, on The Panel, Wallace Chapman is joined by panellists Liam Heir and Verity Johnson.

First up, it's tougher for small businesses now than it was during the 2008 global financial crisis according to Antje Fiedler, senior lecturer in Management and International Business at University of Auckland. Is the government doing the right things to make sure they survive? And in Whakatane it appears that services like cemeteries, public toilets and animal control haven't made the cut in a new bill that aims to alleviate pressure on council rates.
