The Panel with  Jo McCarroll and Rajorshi Chakraborti Part 1

Tonight on The Panel, Wallace Chapman is joined by panellists Jo McCarroll and Rajorshi Chakraborti.

They discuss why police are paid to train, but healthcare workers and other professions are not and they return to the Israel and Iran conflict which Winston Peters today called the worst state of world affairs since the Cuban missile crisis.

Rocket trails are seen in the sky above the Israeli coastal city of Netanya amid a fresh barrage of Iranian missile attacks on June 16, 2025. Israel's military warned on June 16 that it had detected a new missile salvo from Iran, saying its defensive systems were working against the threat. (Photo by JACK GUEZ / AFP)

This half hour the panel hears about potential changes to sick leave and they learn about the infamous Madonna Disco Lite Dynasty Stereo ES-555 Boom Box, made famous by Madonna. One of its ilk is being auctioned by Webbs.

The Panel Expanded

An extra half hour with Wallace begins with a preview of Nights with host Emile Donovan and ends with some wonderful listener interaction.

But in the middle Wallace talks with Grant, a man who so loves going barefoot he has not worn a shoe for 6 years. Why does he do it? Find out within!
