Aquahounds!

When our four-legged friends can't get around on land as they used to  - due to injury, illness or perhaps putting on too much weight - have you ever considered water as an option?

Hydrotherapy - or water healing - has been around since ancient Egyptian times. It can can help animals (as well as humans) recover from things like arthritis, tendon and muscle injuries, nerve damage, and obesity.

Kiwi canine hydrotherapist Sarah Apperley trained in the UK and has set up one of the few animal hydrotherapy units in New Zealand - she calls it Aquahounds!
