In the lead up to an election much of the media’s attention is focused on new and returning candidates putting their names forward for a seat in the next Parliament.
But at the end of every Parliament is a group of MPs who don’t intend to come back and among them is National MP Nikki Kaye.
Kaye first entered politics 12 years ago as the MP for Auckland Central and shares the highs and lows of her parliamentary career as well as some advice for prospective MPs.
