Leading the House through week two

Each day that MPs are required to be at Parliament is called a sitting day.

The mornings are usually filled up with select committees and the afternoons are spent in the House. First up is normally question time and after that there are debates either on general matters or legislation.

The order of the legislation MPs will work on is decided by the Leader of the House Chris Hipkins who gives the low-down in the audio below.
