It's 20 years since the noho of Whanganui's Pakaitore, or Moutoa Gardens - a protest that lasted for 79 days; The New Zealand First leader, Winston Peters is confident ahead of the Northland by-election and says he wants to get Maori off the general electorate role and onto the Maori role; A business leader says a Maori ward seat in New Plymouth is not the only answer to mana whenua aspirations in the rohe; A Treaty of Waitangi commemoration day is being held this Sunday by the Ngati Poao Iwi Trust on the bank of the Tamaki River in Auckland.
