A moving ceremony at Te Papa greeted the ancestral remains of koiwi tangata today as they came to the end of their journey back to Aotearoa; The Minister of Maori Development, Te Ururoa Flavell, wants a new advisory group to fill the gaps left open by the Reo Maori Bill, including who should be on the board charges with keeping Te Reo alive; A Maori leader in the Catholic church is supporting the idea of a biligual prayer to be recited in parliament, but holds some reservations about the idea of not using the current karakia; An official ceremony for the return of a silver medal awarded to a Ngapuhi chief in 1806, which had been up for auction in a private collection in Australia, will be held at the Auckland War Memorial Museum tomorrow.
