A campaigner for the winner of the Western Maori seat, Adrian Rurawhe, says the election was divisive for Maori causing splits within some whanau due to differences in political allegiances; The Hauraki-Waikato MP says the fact that Maori voters returned in their droves to Labour proves the majority of tangata whenua are unhappy with the National-led government; The Mana leader, Hone Harawira, plans to talk with his party and supporters before making any formal comment; The Maori Language Commission is rolling out lessons in Te Reo on buses and says the language is starting to pervade every asepct of life in Aotearoa.
