The united sub-tribes of Ngapuhi say they're elated with the Waitangi Tribunal's decision to hold an urgent hearing into the approval of Tuhoronuku by the Crown to lead settlement negotiations; The first hui for the Maunga Authority, which will oversee Auckland's volcanic cones, was held today; A Board of Inquiry has reaffirmed its draft decision and granted consent to change the Hamilton city's district plan to allow for a large development by Tainui Group Holdings; The Mana Party is demanding that a petition calling for Te Reo Maori in schools in the early 1970s is finally acted upon.
