A Maori child advocacy group, Mana Ririki, doubts National would support the idea of a cross-party political agreement to eliminate poverty for tamariki in New Zealand; A group representing Maori in screen production hopes a review at Maori Television will help solve existing problems within the station; The Motiti Rohe Moana Trust is dismayed by the Bay of Plenty Regional Council referring the decision of whether to remove the Rena to the Environment Court; At least a dozen tangata whenua will be recognised as part of the investitures at Government House in Wellington this week.
