Whanganui iwi descendants are making their way up the river to witness the signing of their tribe's Treaty of Waitangi Settlement with the Crown; A New Zealand born artist, who in the 1980's started work on a bronze bust of the first Maori King, Potatau Te Wherowhero, is hoping to be able to gift the work to the current Maori King; The eastern Bay of Plenty iwi of Tuhoe will officially open one of its four tribal medical centres in about a week's time.
