Maraea Rakuraku is at the Poroporoaki for the whanau who began their six month Journey on-board two traditional waka bound for Rapanui, Hawai'i and then back home again. Ngapuhi, Kawiti Waetford credits his Kapahaka background in preparing him what is turning into a burgeoning opera career. This year he was one of six finalists at the Lexus Song Quest.
