With growing role numbers, the school outgrew its premises there and eventually moved to its current location in Seatoun. The school takes its name 'Mokopuna' from one of the three islands in Wellington harbour. It's an ideal backdrop for their annual Kupe festival, a gala day, in which the students, parents, staff and supporters do their bit to raise money. Justine Murray was there.
