Researchers at Queen Mary University of London have now discovered that bumblebees love to play ball games, and as with humans, young bumblebees like to play more than older ones do.
Leading the study was award-winning behavioural ecologist Dr Lars Chittka, Professor of Sensory and Behavioural Ecology at Queen Mary University in London and author of the book The Mind of a Bee.
