The ongoing saga that is Brexit took another turn this week when it was announced that British PM Theresa May would make a written offer to Labour Party chief Jeremy Corbyn to set out the government's offer on the UK's departure from the EU. This comes at the end of another long at fractious week in Westminster, and has political commentators and conspiracy theorists alike suggesting that May (who is seeking yet another short extension to the Brexit deadline) is actually setting a trap for her opponent - either to take him down with her, or trying to drag the UK past the point where it would be able to seek a long extension that would allow a second Brexit referendum to take place. Guardian Brexit correspondent Lisa O'Carroll joins the show with all the latest on the story that truly keeps giving.
