The Marshall Islands has a hearing date next month to persuade the UN's highest court to take up a lawsuit against India, Pakistan and Britain, accusing them of failing to halt the nuclear arms race. In 2014 the Marshall Islands government filed a lawsuit against the US and the eight other nuclear-armed countries for failing their obligations under the 1968 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
