Dr.James Welsh is an ethics fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. For many years he worked on health and human rights issues at Amnesty International's secretariat, with particular reference to the death penalty. And in Texas, someone who's been engaged in every aspect of opposition to the death penalty at home and abroad for over forty years, is Rick Halperin. He's a Professor of Human Rights in Dallas - at the Southern Methodist University's Department of History.
