An Auckland church, St Matthew's in the City, is holding two events to commemorate 'the day Madiba came' - 13 November 1995 - when Nelson Mandela visited and spoke to the hundreds of anti-apartheid campaigners gathered in St Matthews about the impact they'd had on him and on South Africa. Jesse Mulligan talks to the Vicar of St Mathews, the Reverend Dr Helen Jacobi, about the historic event.
