Carl Nixon - turning short stories into a novel

Christchurch-based Carl Nixon is an award-winning short story writer, novelist and playwright. His latest novel is called The Waters and it's published on Tuesday. Carl spoke with Dan Slevin about the novel and its origin as several short stories, so Dan asked Carl whether the intention was always to turn those stories into a novel.
