Opera: Sleeping Beauty in the Woods

The New Zealand Opera Company is halfway through its Opera in School's tour of Aotearoa. The company's bringing a re-worked version of the opera Sleeping Beauty in the Woods by the Italian Composer, Respighi. In the Kiwi version, it's the prince who's the sleeping beauty. Having done the North Island, tour of the cast, tenor Ridge Ponini and soprano Alexandra Francis, dropped into the RNZ Concert studio to chat with Bryan Crump.
