We are getting to crunch time at the ASB Classic Men's tournament in Auckland, with the semi-finals set to get underway today.

The tournament's top three players have all been knocked out ahead of the business end of the Classic.

The sole remaining top seed is John Isner and he's taking on one of the rising stars of men's tennis, Frenchman Ugo Humbert.

The sole remaining New Zealander is Marcus Daniell, who is through to the doubles semi-finals with his Austrian partner Phlipp Oswald.

RNZ reporter Clay Wilson has been taking in the action and spoke to Leigh-Marama McLachlan.
