The Hawkes Bay District Health Board has backtracked on a decision to cut housework support services which hundreds of people rely on.
And it is apologising unreservedly and writing to those affected.
Yesterday the Board announced they'd reinstate the extra support to all 605 people - many are elderly, after sending letters announcing last week services would end.
