Today in our holiday hotspots segment, we're heading to Mount Maunganui - characterised by Mauao - a large extinct volcano at the head of the sandbar, fondly referred to by locals as The Mount.
It's not a secret that Mount Maunganui has one of the country's best beaches, something that keeps people coming back year on year.
To tell us all all about it is Greg Davidson, whose Cosy Corner Holiday Park right on the beachfront, has been in the family for 52 years.
