Waka ama growing in popularity as nationals get under way

The 30th National Waka Ama Sprint Championships get under way today, with more than 3000 paddlers expected to take to Lake Karapiro this week. Maori News Correspondent Leigh-Marama McLachlan caught up with a junior women's crew in Whanganui just before they set off to Cambridge.
