Water quality critical issue for this election

From Summer Report, 8:23 am on 9 January 2017

Fresh water is shaping up to be one of this year's critical election issues as swimming holes become increasingly unusable and companies line up to sell New Zealand water overseas. In February last year the Government called for public submissions on its plans for freshwater reform. Those submissions closed in April and it was expected that there would be an announcement late last year. Kate Gudsell reports the country is still waiting to hear what the Government has in store.
