Late Night Phil

Harry Belafonte died last Tuesday aged 96. He was an American singer, actor and activist, who brought calypso music into the mainstream in the 1950s. Belafonte is one of the few performers to have received an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards.

In Late Night Phil, we'll play highlights from his 'Live At The Carnegie Hall' album recorded in 1959.
