Late Night Phil - Al Stewart

Alastair Ian Stewart turns 73 next week. He’s a British singer-songwriter and folk-rock musician who was part of the British folk revival in the 60s and 70s. 1976’s "Year of the Cat", and its 1978 follow-up Time Passages brought Stewart his biggest worldwide commercial successes, but earlier albums such as Past, Present and Future from 1973 are often seen as better examples of his work.

He's released 19 albums since his debut album Bed-Sitter Images in 1967, and continues to tour extensively in the US, Canada, Europe, and the UK. He’s worked with Alan Parsons, Jimmy Page, Richard Thompson, Rick Wakeman, Tori Amos and Tim Renwick.
