In 2006 Sam Cawthorn had his arm torn off in an horrific car crash in Tasmania. He was also told he would never walk again. He has spent years in rehabilitation. He is now sought after as a keynote speaker who promotes positive psychology and theories around transforming crisis into success. Sam has also set up a charity in India, Caring For People, which educates and feeds 500 children living with a disability
