Marty Duda's artist of the week - Dallas Green

The former singer/guitarist with Canadian hardcore band Alexisonfire, Dallas Green has taken a very different musical turn as City And Colour. Begun as a side project in 2005, City And Colour finds Green in prime Neil Young acoustic mode singing songs about lost love, loneliness and heartbreak in a sweet tenor voice. Green eventually disbanded Alexisonfire and now concentrates exclusively on City And Colour. Green brought the band to New Zealand for the first time in 2012 after a Facebook-fan driven campaign. He returns for two shows in December with The Raconteurs' Jack Lawrence in the band.
