1.8 million year old hominid skull

The unearthing of a 1.8 million year old hominid skull in Georgia which has prompted a rethink of our human origins. David Lordkipanidze of the Georgian National Museum in Tbilisi is leading the study into the Dmanisi site in southern Georgia.
