The benefits of Journal writing

Could writing a diary about difficult or traumatic emotional events help the healing process post surgery? Researchers at Auckland University have been studying the mind-body connection looking at whether expressing emotions about a traumatic experience in a coherent way may be important to not just mental but physical health as well. Dr Elizabeth Broadbent, a senior lecturer in health psychology at the University of Auckland led the study.
